We've had the coldest spring I've ever seen! By now we're usually cruising in the 80s and hitting into the 90s quite a bit, but it hasn't even reached 90 yet this year.

109 is a touch warm though! We usually see up to 105 at the peak of summer but it doesn't break 110 very often. Summer of '98 we saw 112 which is a little hot for Washington

Here on the Southern Oregon Coast, if it were to hit 80, there would be panic in the streets----about as bad as if it were to hit 25 in winter. The thermometer outside my window right now (7;01 PM sits at 55 degrees).

Actually the thermometer did hit an even 80 one day last summer and we took a picture of it to send to people!!!

officially it was 111 degrees on Thursday and 109 Friday. High 90's this weekend, best see if the central heat is working..... there has been a trace of rainfall recorded todate (that's this whole year) which puts us minus three inches to normal.

It's really dry out here and everything north of Phoenix is in EXTREME FIRE DANGER.

I am working on a highway between Montrose and Gunnison, CO. Every morning I have to get out the black lined carhart for an hour or so. They it warms up to about 65 to 70. :D

MAN!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss Phoenix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How's this for extremes, my forecast for today:

A HEAVY SNOW WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE MOUNTAINS OF WESTERN

MONTANA AND THE NORTHERN CLEARWATER MOUNTAINS OF IDAHO ABOVE

4000 FEET THROUGH THIS EVENING...

TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 10 TO 20 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED BY THIS

EVENING IN THE MOUNTAINS OF WESTERN MONTANA.

How did I live in Phoenix as long as I did? Man it's good to be living somewhere else!! Thanks for reminding me why I moved :)

Plus my truck plates are $65, my friend (in Phoenix) says his plates cost around $1000, ouch.

But I sure miss the OHV areas :(
