After 524,000 miles on my 96 dually I think I am in the market for a new,ah ah ah well... . an 03? is this a mistake or what? I need a reliable truck for my business and I think it's time to take the plunge, not that the old 12 valve is worn out but, well ? help. rv pilot

03

I know several people who have an 03 and no problems so far

I think you will have to put a computer on it to get a little more power

Just my two cents worth

I'm sort of like a fish out of water. I got the new 03, and the computer stuff and extra valves are kind of foreign to me.

On the other hand, I LOVE MY NEW RIDE.

(It's sort of like moving to a country where there are no ugly women. Sure you have to learn a new language, but it seems to be worth it. )

Of course I haven't parted with my 94 yet. I can't decide what to do with it, but I can't let it go either... .

You better hurry. My 97 was stolen a while back, & I was just about to order an 03 with the HO engine & 48re. I wanted the long bed std. cab 2500. There is a $2,000 manufacturers rebate, as well as the $500 std. cab "non-Hemi" rebate. I was also going to get the $500 Farm bureau rebate also, for a total of $3K. Anyway all that ends April 30th. After that, you can't order an 04 till sometime in July, and who wants to wait till Sept for a new one? Well the good news for me is, my truck was recovered last week, and should be like new when it gets out of the shop. (Needs new carpet, running boards, tool box, & hitch reciever, bumper guards, & both sides of the bed & one door re-painted. )
