I made my own for the price of a relay and a little bit of wire. I think that is a reasonable price in the auction.

I bought that exact thing on Ebay about 6 months ago from the same seller. The Thing works perfect, and was a very easy install. The directions are first class, and as a seller he was a peach to deal with I would highly recommend the product and the seller!

Why do the OD off in the first place (New 02 owner)?

To limit lugging the engine and transmission in slower in town driving. The auto transmission doesn't like low RPM's behind the Cummins.

You probably ought to know that in the classic sense of 'lugging' you cannot lug the computerized engines at all. If you could, it would have to be with a manual shift. If you crowd it at all with an automatic it will just kick overdrive off or downshift or both.

That is not necessarily true. The 47RE does not down shift very well on its own. SNOKING

In fact theese trans's lug real easy. if I leave my smart controller off and OD ON I can shift thru the gears and make it to OD by 42mph at which case rpm's are all of what 1100 rpm's. "Lugging" is as a general rule of thumb for the isb is below 1400 rpm's and sends engine pulses thru a trans whis is making relative low pressures at that point and can be harmfull to the stock torque converter and lockup clutch.

Lugging means running the engine at it's maximum output below it's torque peak. Running along below the torque peak isn't necessarily lugging.
