Overdrive unit

Can anyone tell me if there is a shortage of overdrive units for an 06 ram? The dealer has had my truck for 12 weeks what's the deal getting tired of waiting , any info would b appreciated thank u

Probably, since the 48RE has been out of production for over 5 years now. You may be better off sourcing your own if they cannot deliver in a reasonable time period.

The overdrive unit is not serviced as an assembly from Mopar. What parts does the dealer need as most if not all should be available. The OD has been pretty much the same for many years so parts should be available from Mopar as well as the aftermarket.
