for guys with weak springs, people are shimming inside the regular spring with a spring from a bic pen cut to length. on a good OF valve it raises pressure about 15 PSI. May help guys with ones that are shot and not able to order one at this time.

Any idea on the 'cut to length' part??? How long are they starting with uncompressed? I wouldn't mind saving some coin by reusing the worn out ones I already have...

I got my last OFV from Marty. It's a 1 piece, the one that has the ball pressed into it. It works good. He raised his price $5.

It's an OEM BOSCH p/n 1 417 413 047 000

Anybody remember when I found this guy (our GLTDR "Revival" ) and the price was $20? I told him he'd better stock up on 'em because there would be a few calls.....

The last time I talked to him he was selling Flag overflow valves and they were the one piece versions so I bought a few of them. I had heard that he had a few failures of the one piece versions and went to the two piece Bosch versions, that's why the price increased. The one pieces' were $30 and I still have them in the tool box but have never had an issue with them. I now run an external regulator.

Between 1/2" and 9/16" from what I read... From what I understand it gives you a little more PSI without having to stretch the OEM spring and risk wrecking it.

I don't know what they are selling now, but the Flag OF valve I bought from MArty a couple years back were the two piece versions.
