2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Overhead console reads CCd occasionally

Every once in a while, the display on the overhead console changes to read CCd. Nothing else on the truck seems to have any problems, but I am wondering what is causing this display?



Any ideas?

I think you just have a loose connector.

The overhead console gets it's info from the CCD Bus (Chrysler Collision Detection) network.

I'm pretty sure when the overhead is not getting data it reads "ccd".

I havent had to look for this connection so I can't be of more help, maybe someone else will chime in.

Thanks John, I will pull out my book and try to figure out where the wires and connectors are.

FWIW, I had this problem when my Edge Comp wiring harness was messing up. I didn't see where you have added a box to your truck, but if you did, recheck those connections first... I did and it fixed my probs.
