Hi All.....

Long time No Write... .

First a Big HELLO... to everyone!...

I have not been on this page for quite a while... . But still have Diesel running through my Veins!

My '98. 5 is still running GREAT... Real strong... All those Visits to Ted Jannety's I'm sure!

Well... I have a quick question...

My truck did not come with the overhead compass/temp console, But I just came into posession of one with the wiring harness from inside the cab intact.

My only problem is. . the temp sensor.

Without seeing one... . I'm not sure where it's supposed to be mounted.

Also. . I'll need to go to the dealer got the actual sensor, as well as any "Pigtail" extension that might be missing since My truck didn't get that option installed at the factory.

Anyone have a picture to share???

Or possibly a few part numbers for the Sensor, Bracket, and under hood wire extension??

Thanks... .

Oh... and one more thing... to anyone that has been thinking of performing the "Sport Headlight" conversion... .

It could possible be the single best mod I ever did!

I can SEE at night now!!!... . Imagine that?!?!?!?

The Temp harness goes from the grille like GARY said under your underhood insulation (PRE Delete ;) ) and plugs into that LiL extra plug that is tagged along with that insanly high power under hood light.

My under hood light is so bright, it can keep elephants away.

I know it works,, 'cause, All the times I've been under the hood of my truck,, and that light was on... I've NEVER had an Elephant approach me.

I had a feeling that extra plug near the underhood lamp was where it went...

I'm going to call the dealer to get that end of the part's list.

Thanks
