Overhead Console

The overhead console needs replacing in my '07. The plastic fell apart beside the passenger side map light and I need to replace it. 12 years in the heat and cold apparently was just too much.

Cheapest I could find for that dang little piece of plastic is $175.

The couple of local junk yards I called didn't have one that isn't broke either.

Anyway, I have it ordered and should be here late next week. But dang that is expensive for something so simple. I know that some people would just let that go and not worry about it in an old truck like that. But I'm absolutely anal about those kind of things and it will drive me nuts to see it broken like that.

OMG I've thrown away 250$...
This is insane how the prices went up within a year, last year i bought a console with the glasses box and paid including the trip computer 150$.
And the best is, this trip computer shows me the instant fuel milage.

I agree about the prices. They seem to have drastically increased over the last year or two. Dealer list on that console is $250, and that doest include the trip computer. Just the shell and the light assembly. I'll transfer my old trip computer to the new housing.

..i was just to lazy to switch my old computer into the new housing and tried with the one that was already in.
And found a functional ECO gauge, isn't that funny.
Searched then with the partnumber - its from a 1500 Hemi.
