2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Overhead display

My truck currently does not have an overhead display. Is the truck prewired for the overhead display or do I need the harness and sensors, etc?

I can't say for sure on the Ram but I looked into doing this on a 2002 Chrysler Sebring and two dealerships indicated that the wiring isn't present and it would be costly to add it after the fact.

Yes, you do need the harness and sensors. We had a customer come in for the same install..... after our "SUPER" parts guy sold him just the overhead console. NICE!

You will need overhead console, temp sensor, wiring harness to temp sensor, wiring harness from back of fuse box to overhead console.

Search for "overhead console" or "trip computer"

I converted one and never did find where temp sensor harness was. Think I ended up tapping a brown wire off the fuse box for the hot of the under hood sender? I used the full harness (converted to PW/PL/PM etc) so the OH was no problem... Dont forget you'll need the head liner, or one for a pattern to cut yours, and the mounts that go into the cab roof...
