Awhile back I had read a post about replacing the rear bump stops for the overload springs with taller ones so that the overload springs would contact them sooner. I may be phrasing this incorrectly, hope somebody knows what I am trying to describe.

Thanks in advance ...

get in touch with Belltech or one of the companys that do lowering kits, I got two new red poly`s in my lowering kit.

You can also un-bolt the u-bolts and put a taller block in between your leaf pack and your over load pac. In stead of lowering the bumps it will raise the over load pack up to them.

I was just thinking about that on the way home last night. I remember reading about the bump stops to. It would be nice for the long loaded trips. I think it was energy suspension that had the parts, but I'm not sure.

You can always go with a set of Timbrens. They replace the bump stop with a rubber coil spring. When you squat about 1" the rubber spring contacts the axle and starts to carry the load.
