Unfortunately my truck, 2500 4x4 does not have any overloads on it and when I hook up to my goose neck trailer the back squats pretty good (sorry no numbers on wieght of the trailer) what I was wondering was can a person source the parts for factory overloads or would I be better off going with aftermarket and if so what. I would prefer to stay away from any air bags as I do not tow that often, maybe 2 or 3 times a year.

Thanks all, for your help,

Paul

Why don't you consider airbags? or Roadmaster Active Suspension? Both with help with carrying the weight and the Roadmasters will help with the empty ride as well.

If you really want factory overloads, I don't think it would be that difficult for you to find a set. There are many members running the Roadmaster suspensions and you need to remove the factory overloads to install the Roadmasters.

I have made other posts on this subject. I will summarize them. The Firestone Ride Rite Airbag system, available from JC Whitney for about $200, will adjust to loads and not affect the ride when empty. I would not even consider putting in the lame factory setup.
