Thin skin is right
This web-site has lost some very knowledgable people who finally had it, because of some of the thin skin that is displayed on this web-site. If you like staying in Wal-mart then continue to stay at Wal-mart and don't worry about somebody else's opinion on the matter. I didn't think Gary went overboard on his opinion of people who do this, and despite what he thinks, it sure as heck isn't going to stop me from overnighting it at Wal-mart when necessary. To me it's not a matter of money, it's a matter of fun and safety. My wife and I have done this on three occasions and all three have been on the opening leg of some very memorable and enjoyable road trips. When you think about what Sam Walton stood for and what RV'ing tends to lend itself to, Wal-mart and RV'ers are a perfect match. Wal-mart has laid out the red carpet for RV'ers. Beats the heck out of wrecking on a lonely stretch of interstate because you're tired. I have experience with the wrecking part of that statement. I wasn't tired the night we wrecked and I felt bad enough about what happened. The only people who really have a dog in this hunt are the Wal-mart stores and the RV'ers who are overnighting it.
Overnighting it at the Wal-mart SuperCenter of your choice get's two thumbs up from the Berger family.
