Competition drag racing launch techniques

I need someone from the Show Me Smokers to PM. I need some details on the rules and classes at this pull. We have 2 street trucks that are ready to come over on saturday. thanks, nick
 
The pulling starts at 7:00pm. Pullers need to be there before 5:30,so we can get eveyone teched and wieghed in. Classes are 7400 and 8000. No hanging weights off the front of truck. Basic S. M. T. P. A. rules are truck can be trailered in D. O. T uncut tires no larger than 35s, 26in hitch height, allowed hitches are receiver or bumper only, no blocked suspention or air bags (must be deflaited) #2 only, no injection of any other substance. All drivers must wear seat belts.



If your truck does not fall into these rules you can pull, just not for $$ or points.



Pay out in each class

1. $100. 00 15points

2. $80. 00 14p

3. $60. 00 13p

4. $40. 00 12p

5. $20. 00 11p

702hp 1342tq. I must have missed something along the way from your last dyno. LOL Looks great. But you have got to do something about that little 13. 3 timeslip. I'm planning on attending as long as nothing comes up.
 
I visit the dyno shop often:D I just cant seem to shift fast enough, to many gears and to little rpm range. Hope to see you there.
 
I heard my old 01ho won the street class. The light weight one. Man i miss that old thing. Can't wait to get my 12v. Green ext. cab short bed.

Your old truck pulled AWESOME. .
 
Some good running and good looking CTDs were in attendance. I wish the track would have been a little less greasy for a better showing. The Tenn. guys did very well.
 
Sorry about the track guys, toooo much rain last week. I wish we could of got a little more time to BS I just got realy busy with every thing going on. I hope to get the truck up and running by this weekend. Thanks for attending the pull(Tennessee) we'll have to get together at TiM for some barley pops (beer)

Did you find out what happened to your truck? We made it home about 12pm on sunday. stopped about 2am and found a hotel to crash at. we had a great time at the mud bog. hope to see ya'll at muncie. nick
