Owner comments on maap nerf bars?

I've had mine for about 2 years now. One of the first BOMBs I did. I have the stainless steel ones. I ordered them after someone posted here their experience with them. They said they had a 300 lbs (+/-) friend jump up and down on theirs and the whole truck shook but the bars stayed right where they were mounted with no flex or movement.



They were real easy to mount and have held up very well (no rust or discoloration). My only complaint is I wish they had a set that went back all the way to the real wheel. I'm short and reaching over the edge at the front of the bed to get to items is not easy.

Im looking at the polished SS challengers. Thats the flat oval one. If you have these I would love to see a pic of them on the truck.

I have 3 yrs and about 70k miles on my cheappe MAAP black ones. No rust or any other problems.

Well worth the least money.

I went ahead and got em. Looks good. Mounting was a little bit interesting as far as determining what bracket goes where. The fit was fine though and requires no drilling. In hindsight if I had slowed down long enough to look at the directions that had nice pictures showing what bracket goes where I might have got it done a little quicker. Of course I didnt even notice there were directions till I got them mounted. I have a picture but still cant figure out how to reduce it enough to post on here. When I cut it down to the 32k they ask for it gets very blocky. Will be glad to email one if anyone is interested.

MAAP Nerf - Bars

Krabman: gotta 2002 Q cab shorty, put the MAAP black powder coated set on . 240lbs driver wt. , bars don't budge and the powder coat appears top quality. Took me 2 hours to install,(with adult beverages in between).
