Sometime week before last, got a pain in my right forearm. The pain starts from the elbow & shoots down to the wrist. Figured I just did something & let it go. This last week, it got worse. I picked up my grandaughter & did the sit on the arm thing & wow. :{ Being one of those people that just can't wait to see the Dr. , I waited until Thursday go.
The Dr. diagnosed as tendonitis. The probing continued until a real sensitive pressure point was found, right next to a scar.
The scar is from an operation some 4 or so years ago ... a melanoma was removed. The Dr. said 'go get x-rayed'.
The X-Ray Dr. asked some funny questions, so I stopped THAT process & asked THE pointed question. The Dr. responded that it appears I have something metallic in there! :{ They shot 1 more picture, ck'd the results & said 'go straight home & call your Dr. '
The Dr. called me on the way home & said 'go back & get the x-rays, you'll need to take them to the surgeon on Friday. There is a needle in your arm'.
Well, the appointment is for Monday now. My Dr. agreed that the Dr. that left it there ISN'T taking it out!!! My daughter looked @ the x-rays & said it looks like a suture needle. It's a little curved mo'fo.
Evidentally, it's a leftover & finally moved to the nerve.
Well, needless to say, I'm after your 1st or 2nd hand experience here.
