What to clean an aluminum tank?

Loctite Threadlocker Tape

You must be the only one - which is why your supplier will no longer carry it!:-laf

Most people I know use it in small amounts - like the size of a disposable propane cylinder.

What do you mostly use it for?

I've used propane, and natural gas(shop) as well as the acetylene. Propane is a very cheap bottled heating fuel. If you have natural gas piped into your shop, or propane, for that matter, all you need is the proper delivery pressure, a hookup and the correct torch tip size. I have never had the opportunity to use MAPP gas. GregH

MAPP has been discontinued for production for quite a while now.

It was a mixture of waste chemicals that Dow threw together and sold as a fuel gas. I have seen some small cans of it still available, but if you're buying from a gas distributor and they are selling you "MAPP", they are most likely filling your cylinder with propylene.

The product # for the Victor pressure, volume and orifice size charts is 56-0411. GregH

GregH, thanks for the info!!! I really do appreciate it... a card to refer to is just what I need to have on hand.

And thanks to everyone's advice... TDR is an awesome resource!!!
