Seats are the same part number for left and right. It does place the air controls inboard for the passenger but there is room to get your hand down in there.

Seat bases are bolt in, there is a left and right due to the seat belt buckle mounting plate location. Air ride with a 4" vertical travel range.

There is also an adapter kit that mounts the console to the new seat bases. I will post part numbers later on tonight.

The tan leather is a perfect color match to the interior, I couldn't believe how close the color turned out. By sheer luck because National does not offer to match anyone's interior, they just have stock colors.

He now wants me to see if National offers the Fore/Aft Isolator kit to fit that particular set up (Also known as a Chugger/Snubber) as he feels that it will help minimize the back slap from any off roading adventures.

Really anxious to hear how he likes them. They probably won't be able to scavenge any Wi-Fi around the State Parks so it may be another day or so before we hear anything.

In the blog somewhere??

He soaked the underneath with Fluid Film before he took it to the Hamburg port for good measure I know.

Ozy talked about hittting route 66 in one of our conversations. I hope that was ok to say Ozy I know you don't want the TDR crowd stalking you.

I think that the Mother Road is in the plans....

You can't ship a CTD from Switzerland to Nova Scotia, then bail in and drive it around NordAmerika on Swiss tags for three months without drawing some attention to yourself.....he'll understand....:D

Hi hi

Yeah, the WiFi Access is a little limited in state parks we like to stay because of nature and price compared to may KOA. LOL
We are very happy with the seats so far, first day it was a little uncomfortable but now we found the right settings and may my back gets used to it so we are fine, money well spent.

We have been now 2 days at the Niagara falls and will left tomorrow morning direction west along the northern shoreline of the great lakes.

Blog update will be at the weekend.

Mike What are the part numbers for the seats and other items used? TIA David

Hi David...I just realized that I did not post them...

NTS 00452 54 Leather Seat....The color combo and seat material is contained within the part number so don't order this particular one until you consult the link below from National

NTS SK1510 01 Left Hand Seat Base

NTS SK1510 02 Right Hand Seat Base

NTS SK1510 03 Console mounting Bracket Kit

National Seating has changed the website and these seat / base units do not show up. I called National Seating and these items are still available, just not on the website right now.
The seats that Ozy bought are the brown leather so don't use the above number for a grey interior.

Just got this PDF from National Seating to get us by on the correct seat part numbers...pick your seat, then the material and color for a complete part number

WOW Mike, I'm impressed that there's bracket kits for many pickups. I guess they see a market. Minus the air kit, what could one expect to spend in a premium leather setup? With brackets n all to do the job?

Ball park, between $1900.00 and $2200.00 depending on the dealer pricing structure.

The trick is to have the dealer order these with a daily stock order. The seats will back order and join in with the other OEM back orders. As the seat parts come in to the dealer there will be no freight charges where it is a stock order. Took about a month for all of Ozy's stuff to trickle in.

You get freight charges in the mix and you can easily add $125.00 or better to the price. Really won't speed it up much either as the seats are built to order.

Thanks for the p/n s . Just curious Mike Do you think other seats ( like from a wrecked KW or F/L ) would mount on these bases? David

It's invisible down here, but you sure can FEEL it!

Too many memories of the oppressive heat & humidity in Texas Bill. Was mostly in the Wichita Falls area of Texas for Tech Schools in the Air Force but while there traveled all over the state. Trucked in Texas extensively and found the people and Eastern 2/3 of the state to be pretty nice EXECPT for the heat & humidity.

People say its to cold in MT for them. I've found that I can put on another coat or pair of long johns, but with the heat you can only strip down to SKIN LEVEL and that didn't help on some days in Texas.
