Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) P 0577??

Anybody know what pcm error code p-0577 is?

Dunno about 0577 - but all the ones on either side of that # relate to a cruise control problem...

Cruise control switch voltage high, either the cruise switch is unplugged or there is an open circuit between the switch and the computer. This is most likely a clockspring.

well that makes sense, when the abs/brake lights came on the cruise was engaged, but the clock-spring isn't factory. i replaced it when i put the cruise kit on???? Thanks for the info guys!
