What does code P0236 mean and how do i fix it

MAP sensor too high too long. That is out of the Superchips book.

Try cleaning the MAP sensor. Another possibility is the wastegate could be blocked off with no boost fooler installed. Or the MAP sensor is bad.

Manifold air pressure. Measures the PSI inside the intake, i. e. boost. A picture is here .

MAP sensor is located just behind the fuel filter on the block on HO trucks, and I forget where on SO trucks but it is close to the same place if not the same place.

Mine used to get dirty and make the truck run like crap pretty regularly, especially when its hot outside. Get some electrical parts cleaner and douse it, then fill the plug with dielectric grease and put it back together.
