Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) P pump & 02 Auto transmission Questions

A friend's cousin is looking into doing a p pump conversion to his 02 24v auto. He has a good P7100 that someone gave him. The main question is what is needed to make the Automatic transmission work properly.
