that's what I would assume... I have yet to have anyone explain all the "tuning" involved :confused:



make sure the injector pop off pressures are right, set the timing, and hang on, right? plate, lever arm, afc, etc. settings are all stuff we mess with on 12v p-pump trucks... maybe they call it "tuning" because you use hand tools instead of a computer? :confused:

I think alot of the tuning they talk about is caused by the pump trying to push the fuel through smaller injectors. I've been working on it for a while and still have a crummy idle when hot. I think if you are planning on running larger injectors and looking for 600+ hp, it might actually be easier than trying to run high 400's to low 500's with a modest amount of smoke. Just my . 02.
 
Try Haisleymachine.com I think they sell kits with everything needed. I think they have a race kit and a street kit. Hope this helps, let us know how it works.
