Did the pump in ? start out life as a 215 ?
Then just wear parts , if not a 215 , then need parts that are not there .
I've seen prices start at $1200 , some included R&R of pump , some start at that with you bringing pump to counter .

The local shop here does them for about $1600 for everything(this includes pulling and remounting the pump). I don't know how much it would cost if you are putting in different internals.

I was talking to a fellow Saturday from a local shop here in Nashville, Taylor Diesel, about my pump. They'll put it on the stand and test and tune it for @ $150. 00. If they have to get into the pump to replace parts the price jumps to @ $1100. 00. He said this is because of the price of the seal kit for the pump. As far as turning a non-215 pump into a 215 pump, I don't know. It would at least require replacing parts that are probably very expensive. If I'm not mistaken, I've seen stock 215 pumps for sale from different vendors in the neighborhood of $800-$1000.

As long as where here , I am checking to see who's is avalable in the twin city area of MN with pump stands ?
I know of one in Burnsville [ out of my way ] , and to see pricing options .

An other posting on a different site about the p-pump , someone stated that the 160 can be tuned better than the 215 , and that the crank is different .
