I'm just wondering what kind of numbers I can expect to see with my stock pump? I'd like to get at least 500hp, is that possible with the right combo? - Thanks, Buck

I'm just squeaking 500RW with my tweaked (not tuned) 180 pump.

What do you mean by tweaked (not tuned)? I don't know too much about this topic. I've heard of bench flow testing? What is a stupid pump?

By tweaked I mean MACK plug installed, AFC modified & adjusted, among other small things.

It hasn't been on a pump test stand and "tuned" per say.



A "Stupid" pump is a product offered by PDR Diesel Performance.

It is a high flow pump for racing/pulling applications.

you can easily make 500 hp w/ that pump. the limiter is the turbo. its only good for about 450 so a bigger one is probably in store
