I'm diving into the p pump thing. What are you guys that have done this doing for your throttle linkage? The 2nd gen linkage doesn't look like too good of a set up, and the 1st gen linkage doesn't look like it'll work at all. I plan on just fabbing something up, but I was wondering whats been tried and what works. Thanks.

At the time that I did mine, the only cable I could find laying around was off a V-10. I had to fabricate a clip to hold the solid end of the cable to the bracket at the pump (would probably not need to do if you got the actual diesel cable). The other solid end of the cable attaches to the fire wall the same way as the first gen. Because of a diiference in length of the "free cable" at the pedal I had to fabricate a spacer between the stud at the end of the cable and the pedal. Hope this helps, though it is hard to explain.

do a search on this forum, a while back someone posted some part numbers for a freightliner setup that worked well, if my memmory is serving me right...

Hey Seane, go to page 6 and look up Used p-pump date 01-06-04 and a hearty thank you to grey wolf and his boys for the part numbers for the throttle linkage. The thread is by Road Hawg. Tim
