Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) p-pumped ?

what is the best pump to do this to our engines i figure the 215 would be more favorable but can all the other be made to work? or is ther some to stay away from???

The 215 has the best parts to start with. If you're going for the stock to 600hp range, it's fine. Beyond that, you're likely changing the cam, plungers/barrels, etc, so you can start with anything.

was told by some one that you can't just bolt a p-pump on and it work you have to get it built to 24v specs? any truth to this or can i just get the pump change thecover and hit the key??? anyone the has done this just what all is involved? if i found a donner 215 motor how much of the conversion would i have.

Why not stick with the 12v motor? Better head flow means lower EGT's anyway.

There is much more to it then that. I haven't done the conversion myself but I have been looking into it for awhile. You need a pump, pump gear, gear housing, gaskets, seals, timing pin, pump brackets, fuel lines, return fuel line, throttle cable, cam sensor relo. ('01-'02), and some other misc. hardware
