P0016 code and Edge/Attitude

I have been throwing a crankshaft/camshaft sensor out of synch code when I put the pedal to the metal. This does not happen every time but it seems like once or twice a month I get the code. I keep my Edge on the 3 (drive) setting.



I was wondering if anyone else who is running an Edge has this occur. I have not noticed any performance problem and the code clears itself after three starts.

I had EZ on my 06 and it never ran a code.

I use to throw the same code on my 05. It seemed that it would happen quite frequently when i would put the pedal down to get on the hi-way. I called edge and they had me change some of the settings but it did not make a difference,so they sent me back a new one and the same thing happened with the new one.

Thanks for input fellows. I was hoping to get a larger consensus of opinion so I guess I will call Edge and get their input.

Ive been running mine for about 6-7 moths and have not had that code yet. Ive had a couple of other strange ones though.



You might want to post in the 3rd gen forum, i know i dont check this one very often and had not seen your post until today. Just a thought.
