Got a P0122 code, did not come up on my scanner but rather on the odometer

Nevertheless I just put a low mile VP on the truck, ran good for 2 days then would fall on its *** with the TST on With the TST off everything runs fine.

Is a positive APPS replacement necessary??

Just trying to confirm before I spend the money

Thanks,

Scott

Saw a thread about another code that may help diagnose the problem

p0622 Low voltage code, could this cause the Apps to act up like this??

Checked Truck voltage sitting right at 14. 0 volts

I had the same problem after replacing the VP44. Check to make sure the connector on the apps is secure. p0122 went away after I disconnected then reconnected the connector plug and recalibrated the ECM by turning the key to the on position. Without starting the engine , slowly press the throttle pedal to the floor and then slowly release. This ensures that the apps calibration is learned by the ECM. You will then need to erase the codes.
