P0192 is "Fuel Pressure Sensor Voltage Too Low"

Possible causes:

-Fuel pressure sensor

-Supply circuit shorted to return circuit

-Signal circuit shorted to return circuit

-Signal circuit open

-Supply circuit open

-Signal circuit shorted to ground

-Supply circuit shorted to ground

-Bad ECM

Bascically, either the pressure sensor has gone bad or there's a wiring problem between the sensor and the ECM. If you want a copy of the complete test sequence, PM me and I can email you a scan of the diagnostics manual.

If I had to put money on it, I'd bet your pressure sensor went bad.

Do you know if there are any symptoms that point to the pressure sensor ? I have been complaining for a while about a inconsistent engine knock. I thought it was a injector going bad but after this morning hearing how my engine sounded,I'm wondering if the engine is getting enough fuel. The dealership has a pressure sensor on order through star-tech but the tech doesn't think that would cause a engine knock.

Oh, I bet it would! Heck, a fogged up rear view mirror can cause injection knock in these engines!

Step 1 is replace the rail sensor (assuming the wiring is good). After that, re-evaluate your knock condition.
