Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) P0216 Code and Cold Weather

well, got the truck hauled back to my shop and set heaters around it for bout an hour. . cracked the fuel lines and cranked on it and fired back up. . cleared the codes and havent seen any back yet. . hopefully this is the end of that story for me. . hate to have to buy a pump at the moment. .

FWIW, my truck has thrown the P0216 code for the last two years but only when it is really cold and I don't plug it in b4 starting in the morning. When it happens the CEL usually turns off in a day or two after x number of starts. It has probably happened about 10 times so far. Eventually, I end up clearing it permanently with the Smarty. Have never noticed it run unusually or anything like that when the CEL was on. I ignore P0216 now - at least when it is cold...
