All of a sudden my 06 is throwing a p0234 overboost code. The truck is stock, aside from a muffler delete kit, but i dont think this would be throwing this code. It happens at WOT 3000 rpm, but i have not yet been able to catch the boost gauge when it happens. When it happens, it defuels partially and comes back after a 2-3 secs. Maybe a faulty Map sensor? Any ideas?

I'm getting ready to install an attitude w/ juice but am getting slightly nervous until i figure this out. From what i understand the juice has a boost fooler so i can make more boost, but will it fix this problem or should i fix it first, then install the tuner?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I, just like anyone else, dont want the dealer to turn around and say the edge box toasted my turbo... ...

When I hooked up my TST I would get a overboost and underboost code regularly. Since you are stock I am not sure why you would get the code, but I doubt it is a problem. I think the computers just glitch sometimes. The boost fuller shoud prevent the computer from seeing the overboost condition when you hook up the edge.

BTW, regardless of the cause as soon as you put on the box you are giving the dealer a free pass on most engine problems so be prepared to be "your own warrente station".

I was thinking the exact same thing. But i have since been able to force the code. WOT on 3-4% grade empty will do it. if i hold the pedal it goes about 10 secs or so, with no boost loss at all. its almost as if it is just backing down to prevent the overboost. its not dumping the boost or defueling at all.

Your waste gate is controled electronically. Maybe it is not working right. Check the wiring or maybe the mechanism might be stuck. Just throwing out some suggestions. It is hard to diagnose without seeing it.

I hesitate to suggest this, but if you are still under warrente you might want to stop at the dealer for them to check out before you put the box on.
