Just changed the oil on my 2003. Pulled the pipe and elbows between the air cleaner and the turbo for better access to the oil filter. When done, I go to start the truck and the MIL light stays on. I realize I forgot to reconnect the wire harness on the air cleaner elbow so I reconnect it. Start the truck agina and MIL light is still on. Cycled key 3 times and got P0236.

FYI - Read a lot about the Quad box creating this code due to bad connections. I put on the Quad about a week ago and used dielectric grease on all connections. Been running it on the 100 HP setting all week with no issues. I can't help but think this code was caused by forgetting to reconnect the air breather wiring harness. Thoughts? If that is it, how long before the MIL goes off?

I have the Quad box and I have the P0236 code also. I had it reset with a scan tool and the code reappeared again. Some others on here have also gotten this code with the Quad box. As for the filter I have always got to it from the bottom. You are already down there to pull the plug anyways.

Disconnect the batteries, turn key on while disconnected to discharge any stored energy in the system. reconnect batteries and it should be gone. . worked for me anyway.
