Truck felt fine until this weekend and today felt pretty down on power. Pulled off the p0251 code. On the 130 setting, I get no smoke and it feels like somewhere between stock and the 60hp setting. 60 feels better than 0, but still doggy in comparison to what it has felt like. Any thoughts?

I've read about this and similar issues on DTR. It seems it may be an electrical connection or a wire harness problem. Quad has said that the boxes themselves have something like less than . 5% failure rate. The wiring is usually the culprit.

I don't know how long you've had the box, but there's an updated harness available.

I didn't have any issues with mine, but I only had been using it for about 1 month until I unplugged it. The harness had been on the truck for three months (two months with the 100 box).

It's been on there around a month total (truck was in the shop for 15 days in there) and about 15,000 miles. I'll have to talk to Quad and see if I can get one. Quad, if you read this, I need a new harness:D

The final result was a cracked injector tip. My number 6 was cracked and stuck WFO. It roasted my HTBG turbo. So the end result was six new injectors (80hp) new turbo (HTB2) engine flush, a lot of worry, several thousands dollars and removal (and sale) of the Quad box. I had the box on for around 15k. I've had my TST on for over 35k with no issues.

So the Quad was the cause of all this?

I don't know if it was the entire cause or not, but my gut strongly told me it was a major player.

I personally doubt it. I've been running an EZ since Feb of '03. The original EZ with 6 settings. I'm pretty sure I've wasted my relief valve here recently, but haven't confirmed it yet. That box is all pressure and I'm at 170,000 miles now, the Quad is supposed to stay within factory pressure limits ... ... ... ... ... . isn't it?
