Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) P0341 Camshaft Position

Good Day All. I have this Problem Now for over 4 months and no one can figuret out. I'm hoping you all can. It is a 2002 3500 6spd and if I'm going 100km/hour the check engine light will go on. If I check for codes all I get is P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor Signal. Now What was all done. 1) The sensor was replaced 3 times 2) the wires where looked at and seem ok. 3) the pcm was checked and it seems ok. Now when the light comes on I lose all power intell it gets a new signle reading which means eather stoping or idleing for a minute or two. So where do I stert to look? The head gasket is leaking bad on the passenger side dose this maybe make the truck to act funny? well thats my story. Thanks for the help

Is it happening at the exact same speed every time? I was getting an intermittant loss of signal with mine and it really was just the connection at the sensor so changing yours out should've solved that. Has the wiring been gone over really good? The speed correlation seems a little hokey.

Ya it seem to be around that 100 km/hour. Where did you get the new Conector from? that sounds like a good place to start. Thanks

I didn't replace the connector, I took it off when trying to replace the sensor and after not being able to get the sensor out I put the connector back on and that solved my problem. You said your head gasket was leaking what about a bad ground connection? I was thinking there is one over on the passangers side?

you know I never thought about looking over there. It would be a good place to start looking. When I get time I will look at the conector to. And Last night I found that it happends around 2000 and 2500 rpm and not a t 100km/h. My bad
