Well, new batch of problems reared thier ugly heads this morning. truck started missing and lost power, (not the thing for L. A. traffic with a 40' steel box behind you). Thought fuel filter wanted attention, so i changed it, started up, idled well, checked for leaks, seemed fine. Go to take off, grab 2nd and it dies, would not restart!!! Thanks to schiester tow truck driver, truck doesn't go where I want( but might tomorrow morning). Is lift pump gonzo, or something else more severe? Many, many thanks to member BART that I located in an ancient travel companion that was in the truck, he dropped everything immediately and borrowed another brand truck and came to my aid instantly, got the trailer and container up the road a ways and hopefully I'll find another truck or mine will be ready in 2 days to bring it home.
