When you pull the fender liner check your coolant hoses. I found one laying on a frame and chafed. There is a hanger that was never clipped in where it belonged.

Must have been a Monday morning or Friday afternoon build. :) Thanks to all of you for good ideas and info. It will be interesting to see this elusive part for the first time---Mike

Okay, I'm back with another question. I got the liner off and see the NOX sensor for the first time. The wire end IS in a different location than the 14 the Motor City mechanic posted and it IS where Larry Willard said. That said, I compared what I have to the Dorman part and what I have for the Ram part and they look a little different. The sensor back to the wire connection looks the same but the mounting block and other connection appear different. My concern would be whether the wire connectors would attach and if I can mount the unit correctly because it would be upside down. If someone changed one of these on a 2013/14 I would like to know if they used a RAM part or Dorman or what they may have encountered. If the mounting block does not need to be changed then I can simply unplug the old and plug in the new. However the mounting block might contain something inside requiring it to installed as a unit. If I recall correctly the Dorman part looks like the 2014 part in the MC demo video.

Also. just looked on Epay and with more views of the part I see that it can mounted either direction so disregard that. But there are several cheaper versions listed. Around $236. Never like to go cheap but if they were the same as a Dorman then why pay double. So I believe the Dorman part may work but the mount is still a little different in that on my truck it's on a steel plate at a right angle to the engine.

I changed an upstream out on a 2014 about a year ago, as stated, removed inner fender liner, but not tire and wheel. For never having done it before, it took me 2.5 hrs, and I consider myself proficient. Next one will go faster. I got the part from Rock Auto, don't remember what brand it was, but price was in that $275.00 range, I see they are way higher now. Deleting is looking better. Jim

Since I have dielectric and use it frequently I will try that. Good idea and thanks for that. I have not erased the code yet but will do so after trying the grease fix. Good to know it's location and that it's before the DEF injector.
While you are at this, go to the front axle, and pull connector for the engagement solenoid, put dielectric grease there, don't ask me how a nice vacation got screwed because of this oversite, the problem has never come back
