P226b = new turbo

Took my truck to Glenn Thomas Dodge in Long Beach, They have always done an excellent job for me.

I discussed the code (P226b) with the service writer and explained the research I had done . His technician verified the code . I presume the tech performed some cleaning procedure and was not satisfied.

The upshot is warranty replacement of the turbo.

They did however deem the truck okay to operate for another week so I'll drop it off again next friday.

Still no effect on performance though.

That code is for a turbo boost issue noted while in regen

I had no performance issues whatsoever but the same code resulted in a new turbo, new EGR everything, new intercooler and new cat convertor all under warranty!
