P2509 code and truck won’t start

Good afternoon went to start the truck today and it did not even try to crank. Battery’s are good, discovered a P2509 code and it’s “permanent “ and will not clear. Disconnected the battery’s charged them both with no effect. Any ideas on how to clear the code? Truck is a 2020 Bighorn high out put diesel with the auto check my sig

It's a battery related issue. some have just replaced one battery , also check grounds. easier to have towed to the dealer

Ok will charge the battery’s over night and load test them in the am

Call Roadside assist right away, you paid for it, you are under warranty, use it.

Will do after the battery test, been on the phone already for @1 hour and still no live person to talk to.

Load test was not good passenger side bad. Replaced both battery’s. Truck started right up. Still have the P2509 code will take it to the dealer to see about fixing that. We will see

That can possibly reset after a few key cycles

This is a 2020? The dealership is the first place I'd have taken it....no way you should be footing the bill for batts.
But as stated the code should clear after X number of run cycles.
