Where can I find detailed instructions on changeing the timing on my 97 12V? I am looking to set the timing somewhere around 15-15. 5*.

The lift specs for 1996-8 180 hp are 4. 61 mm for 15 deg, and 4. 69 mm for 15. 5 deg. The 215 hp has 5. 34 for 15 deg, and 5. 43 mm for 15. 5 deg.

Your numbers do not look the same as these... Is there a typo somewhere?? I'm getting ready to bump mine up to 22 degrees. . How many MM of lift is that? Wesley
