PA Truck Pulls at the Buck

Is anyone going to the Buck Saturday night the 19th. Will be 4x4 street trucks pulling looks like a good time. Mike H. I will be looking for ya Don't know if I will have my truck or not it's in getting a new clutch put in now.

Oasis, Hey man, Blackdog and I will not be up there this weekend. We are headed to the truck show in Lima, Ohio. I talked to Loretta Mitchell today and she said their crew was goin up, she said " The White DODGE isn't ready but hers was". From what I hear hers is runnin pretty good now, I wouldn't plan on winning any money with them there, UNLESS they break!!Be good.

Red 97 with Amsoil decals all over it, you can't miss it. I did not make last weeek.

MGM, Mike from the buck sent me the rules but can't seem to find them now. I can remenber a few.
1. Only one turbo
2. Stock pick-up bed (if dump,utilty, you could run but only for fun)
3. Only diesel ( no propane or nitros)
4. Can't say about the hitch hight

Do not forget the stupidest rule of all: Trucks must have a muffler,,Hitch height was around 25",,I can not remember either,NO MUFFLER RULE=NO RED DODGE,,I'll stay at home. .

yea let's see some pics and who & what won??? any of you guys running 4x4 autos?? what'd have the transfer case in L or H and what about the transmission- L, 2 or D--any probs and last but not least whats your HP level---chris

Chris, I'm have a 96/3500 auto pulled the sled in low/2 it shifted once never ran out of power. Pulled a big sled 236/ft winner went 250 something. A 97/3500 won he had a 5spd. We pulled a selfpropled sled, the sled had a (440 chrsyin it) it was pretty heavy. I was test puller I got to pull it 3 times got my moneys worth. I guess my truck some where between 300-350 hp.

Ok I only have 5 pictures out of 22 that my son took he is no photographer and the 5 pictures I was able to use will prove it.
By the way I finished 4th with my stock 2001. 5 truck #ad
but the bad news is I was beaten by my old truck 1996 #ad
it just happened to show up at the same event. It was good to see the new owner is having fun with it. #ad

sorry I missed the buck this year. I made it last year and took 1st in diesel truck class. It sounds like you guys had a blast again this year.

You mentioned Capitol Raceway,how did you do?
I'm going to be at the track this Saturday to watch a friends dragster but if you think you can make it to the track I'll run the old dodge with you.

AWESOME!!! Thanks Tom for the ride up there. What a nice turnout. Mike nice photos. Best of all the flowerjokes that did show placed at the bottom. NOT ONE OF THEM POWERFULL DURAPUKES!!! Imagine that and the event was even sponsered by Duramax, Jasper, cen-pe-co lubricants. After Sat night I am convinced beyond a doubt that Cummins truly is the KING of the road!!!! If you don't believe me see you at the Buck on June 16 for the next diesel truck pull!!!!!!
