Saw this on the RV.net tow vehicle forum.
"We went for an auto on our new truck (mainly for my wife) but I still wanted an e-brake. I read here that several people were using the Pacbrake, so I contacted a diesel shop who told me the same thing and he said it would not void my dodge transmission warranty.
I was planning on doing it whether or not it would void my warranty, but I decided to contact the dealer and ask them again. At first he told me that they could not install it, but when I told him what the other guy told me, he said he would check into it and call me back.
He called back a couple of hours later and said yes, they can now install Pacbrake without voiding the warranty. I'm having ours installed on Wednesday. "
This appears to be in the San Jose, CA area, and his PU looks like an '05 CTD. Anybody else getting this info from dealer's service depts?
