Aeroturbine/Straight pipe need some answers

afarmboy,

You need to put what kind of truck you have in your sig. They used a HY35-9 on the autos; a HX35-12 on the HO 6 speeds, and I'm not sure if it was a HY35-10 or HX35-12 on the SO 5 spds. I think all you have to do if you have a 35 is change the exhaust housing from an older truck; may not have to even do that. Seems like I remember seeing an adaptor that lets you put the older brake on the newer turbos, but I could be mistaken; brain's getting fuzzy from lack of use. :-laf.

The one you bid on will work fine on your truck. It will use the throttle switch type of activation instead of the ECM control which is normal for a 24 valve kit, but many people prefer that anyway. Or if you want once you have the kit some pacbrake dealers will sell you the necessary upgrade part(s) to make your 12v kit work like the 24v kit.

In ebay the only bid that counts is the last one... ...

BOY..... I think the last thing I would do is show another TDR member a good deal on a mod that I was looking for:D. You could potentially have almost 20,000 new people bidding on that brake now:D :D ;). Sorry to be the bearer of such bad news:eek:
