The Pac-Brake is on board and nice.

I hauled a load of retaining wall blocks (2500 lbs. ) for my brother, he was impressed with the braking, and the sound. I then went and got him two yards of top soil, his wife went this time and thought the sound was "neat" "like a "big truck", and an "oh I guess we do slow down a lot, that is what you wanted, right?"

I'm still getting used to when to take the foot off the diesel pedal, and when to down shift. Sometimes I am slowing down way ahead of where I want to be, and other times I have to apply the service brakes. Each day I am getting better.

I wired mine into a foot switch like a "Jake pad". It's just like driving a truck and it doesn't try to turn on while upshifting. 5K miles later I wouldn't be without it. ;)

Ken,

I paid to have it installed, since my brother and his wife paid for the Pac-Brake. They said spend a few hundred and have it put in right for sure, the first time.

I had the guy installing it put on a 2 1/2 gallon air tank. Now I can run the air horns and I have emergency air for the slow leak in the trailer tire, or truck tire.

Ken,

I have yet to try it out, for emergencies I figure that it will be worth any trouble and PITA factor.

Changing an inside dual is a PITA, even when you have the floor jack and impact gun. With this air maybe I can limp on into a tire shop, and save myself some hassle.

And the air powers up the air horns so that I can blast the lady who made a left in front of me yesterday while she was talking on the cell-phone. The O-@#$% look on her face as she realized that big trucks are capable of squishing her and her Honda car, it was totally worth the money.
