Anyone have probs with a pac on a 02 that is wired through the ECM. Just put this one on and it quit, havent dug into it yet but wondering if I should look for something specific.

Pretty easy to troubleshoot. Swap the vacuum lines and if it closes thats a clue. If it does not close its probably a vacuum problem. They also have had some issues with the solenoid switch. Check power etc.

Don't forget to check the wiring at the ECM. I installed one a few months bac that was pretty fusst about having a good connection. . maybe the wire has worked itself loose

I do believe Pacbrake uses air pressure instead of vacuum, at least the one thats been sitting in my garage for the last 4 months is, but like EVoos says, it's probly a connection.

Its vacuum on the 01. I think the 02 is the same. If so , don't use air pressure or it will damage it. There is a big warning sticker on it about that.

I bought a Jacobs E-brake a month ago, was going to install it myself, but decided to let the local college's Diesel Program, of which Im an alumni, do it. Anybody know if its wired in through the ECM as well? Hasn't been installed yet, they'll do it after mid-terms.
