Pac Brake questions

I have a chance to purchase a New old stock Pac Brake. The instructions show for a 2004 truck. I have a 2007 with a 5. 9 with a 6sp manual, will this work on my truck? Also the price quoted was 800. 00 for the complete kit, what would a new one cost? Thanks

I think I you can get a new one for between $1,000-1,100. The one for the 04 will not bolt up to you exhaust pipe, 03&04=3. 5" 04 1/2 and newer= 4"

I recomend getting a hold of jelag on this site, he will set you up.

The difference between the PXRB and the standard brake is the the PXRB has more braking ant the lower RPMs

Send a P. M. to jim ( Jelag ) is is log in name here on TDR and he is a Tdr member, I have bought 2 Pac brakes from him plus if the Pacbrake you are looking at is not the PXRB then I would just buy a new one so you can get the PXRB

My first pac brake was the regular model that I bought in 04 and after my turbo install I had to change from a turbo mount to a inline and I now have the PXRB and it is noticeably better in stopping power
