I am changing to a 4" exhaust while I install a Pac Brake. My 2004 has a 3. 5 inch exhaust. I am having trouble finding a v-clamp to go from the 4"

Pac Brake to the 4" down pipe. Does anyone have a part number for the clamp. It looks like the physical diameter of the brake flange is about 5". Thanks.

Man I know exactly what you need, I too changed my cast elbow and downpipe to a 4".

I just went digging through my old parts box in hope of finding the receipt, but no luck. You have to buy the v-clamp from dodge, for an 04. 5 or newer, I just ordered one for an 05 to be easy.

Prior to ordering from Dodge, I went to Cummins, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, and even a supply house that Freightliner recommended. None of these places had the size I needed.

When you order from Dodge, make sure you get the clamp between the cast elbow and downpipe, not the one between the turbo and cast elbow, they are different.

I experienced this on a Friday afternoon (day off), Had to wait till monday for Dodge to open, so I could order, took 3 days and about $25. 00.

JJPAGE,

Thanks for the reply. Yah, I went to Motor trucks, they ordered in two different ones and they were too big. Will try Dodge.

Thanks Keith

kompressor I have a 2004 with a 48re that I want to put the Pac brake on also. Did you order a brake for a 04. 5 and newer? I would like to know how it works for you after you have it installed. Would you pm me with the info. Thanks Keith
