I have a pas brake on my 2001 and I have installed them for about 5 friends . We have all had the vacumm selenoid stick. i called pac brake about this and they have sent me their service bulletion, on how to clean the selenoid, after cleaning it as per instructions it will work for a day then start sticking again. the only fix has been to replace these. the new ones only last about 10 to 15,000 miles. has anybody found a better solution. Will the

one from one of the other vendors like BD work. any suggestions would help i'm tired of paying 85. 00 for a dispoable part. i'm getting ready to put a e brake on my bosses truck, i'm thinking of a banks with their 4 or 5 inch exhaust. I need to lose some egts will this help. thanks for your time

I always lube them with a light oil when i rebuild them and never have a problem after that... . course I probably just jinxed myself:D

When the butterfly part of my PacBrake was sticking I contacted PacBrake. They suggested that I use a synthetic lubricant on it. I bought theirs and used it. It freed up by itself (without me taking it apart) after using their synthetic lube. This lube might just work on your solenoid when you clean it.
