Pac Brakes

I recently was told that Dodge would void the warranty if a Pac Brake was installed. Does anyone have any knowledge concerning this? I want to have one installed before I tow a fifth wheel.

Is your truck an Auto? Or stick... if its an auto then yes they will void the warrenty on the transmission. On a stick I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for the advice, I have an auto trans, so I guess I will have to think of something else. Is this for all exhaust brakes? What is the answer, or are you just screwed, if you have an auto trans?

Well basically your screwed. Yes its for all exhaust brakes on automatics. Whether its PacBrake, BD, Jacobs (which they will install on manuals). Depending on how much you wanna spend call up Bill K and talk to him about his "Smart controller" (he worked with PacBrake on it).



Might consider a whole package from him then you would "have" to worry about the warrenty as much. I know K_Arts has the controller and so does JNutter so email either one of them or Bill K himself.

BBean... have ya ever read about the NW BOMBers? We are an informal group that gets together and help each other with mods to our trucks, BBQ, etc. We also have convoys to different events, like BD Dyno Days, Timberline Dodge Event, etc. The next one is July 14th, in Portland, (timberline).
