I pull a 20K trailer with my dually. I have a 4" exhaust & an onboard aux air system.

What is the best exhaust brake for towing? Pros/Cons of what's out there?

Thanks.

Huh they have changed their website. It is a true 4" remote mount unit that has a tri-bolt flange on either side for awesome sealing. It is an older unit (I have had it on the truch for 4 years now) that has a 3" vacuum actuator that snaps it shut and open quick! The reason I wanted a remote 4 inch is because I did not want to be stuck with a certain turbo design. Having it remote and 4" makes it easier on swapping turbos and exhaust systems.

I don't have all the ecm controls and whatnot as it is/was the only brake out there that I could find that was driver operated ... not ecm assisted. I have a DTT smart controller to keep my trans locked up on decel so I didn't need those controls either. ... Just the brake

Stock turbo, but considering upgrade. I am not looking for a vacuum operated brake.

Anyone who lives up north had any problems with the electrically operated exhaust brakes?
