If anyone is getting ready to put a PacBrake on their 04. 5 Ram, take note. Tim Jones and I put one on my truck a few weeks ago. The install was not too hard, but the location of the mini compressor has to be relocated. Acording to the brake instructions, they tell you to mount the compressor to the firewall, in the upper passenger side corner. This is now impossible, as DC has relocated the radiator overflow bottle in that location. We located mine to the outside frame rail on the passenger side, just behind the fender skirt. The location was close enough to the brake and the ECM that all of the eletrical hooked up as specified. However, the air tubing that comes with the brake is way short of making it to the new location. I tried various other brands of tubing, all of which failed (they burst under pressure). I finally call Pacbrake, and they sent me the tubing length I requested, no questions asked.
If you choose the Pacbrake, which is a very good unit, be sure to get the extra length of air tubing sent with it. I found that in that location, I needed about 5 feet. Sarge
