I got the HD valve springs in and installed the brake. I goofed up on the #4 cylinder as my wife and a friend came out to the garage to check on me. I put the rocker assy on and torqued the bolts as I was talking to them. As I cranked the alternator nut to get the #3 into position (just after telling them only one more pair to go) I felt restistance
I looked things over and found I didn't have the pushrod seated in the rocker. It bent the top of the pushrod slightly, so I quit for the night. Got it ordered (of course they don't stock those for bonehead moves) and worked on the switch install. I managed to find a round rocker switch at Radio Shack that is just about the diameter of the shift patern insert. With a bit of work, I got it to fit. Looks awesome, works great. Even has a little red LED to indicate it's on. It became a little more drawn out than I had planned, but I'm glad I got it done. Oo.
With the 12 new spring in, I will upgrade to 4k GSK kit next.
BTW, if anybody is going to change valve springs, I have a spring comressor to loan. Just PM me.
